A fictional candidate has found a customer success role and wants to turn a broad resume into a focused application and a useful practice session.
Start with the tool that resolves your immediate question. You do not need AI help for every edit.
Content and design have different jobs: get the evidence clear, then make the document easy to read.
The application remains yours to submit. The tracker records progress; practice helps you prepare for the conversation.
PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
A clearer way forward.
- 01
When the document needs work
Use Edit resume to update facts, the AI assistant to explore wording, and Design to adjust presentation. Preview and export the PDF when the content is ready; save a version when you want to preserve that document.
- 02
When the search needs structure
Save relevant opportunities in Jobs and link the resumes you are using. Scan the list for a compact overview or switch to the board to see applications by stage. Update each stage after the real-world action.
- 03
When the conversation needs practice
Choose a role and resume for a practice session, where voice is enabled. Explain your contribution aloud, review the available feedback, and pick one answer to make clearer on the next attempt.
A LITTLE MORE DETAIL
Before you get started.
Where should I start if I already have a resume?
Import it into a draft, then review the imported facts and structure. Use manual editing for corrections before tailoring the emphasis or changing the design. An existing document is a starting point, not something you have to rewrite from scratch.
Do I have to use the AI assistant?
No. The resume workspace opens in manual editing. Use the assistant when a conversation would help you develop an example or refine a passage, and return to direct editing whenever that is quicker.
Does a polished PDF guarantee an ATS pass?
No. An export lets you inspect and send your document; it cannot guarantee how every employer’s system will parse or assess it. Keep headings and wording clear, verify the final PDF, and follow the application’s file requirements.
