PDF resume export
The file you send deserves a final look.
Move from a working resume to a downloadable PDF. Inspect the actual pages, keep a saved version when you need one, and send the document you meant to send.

EXAMPLE / AFTER
Ready to send The experience heading stays with its first entry. Contact details are current and checked. The repeated bullet is trimmed and the PDF is reviewed again.
The content is fictional. This checklist shows what to inspect before sending a PDF; exporting does not automatically fix the issues.
Review the downloaded PDF itself: it is the final check for pagination.
Fix content in Edit resume and presentation in Design before exporting again.
Save a version when you want to preserve that particular document for later reference.
PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
A clearer way forward.
- 01
Finish the content first
Check contact details, dates, job titles and the wording of your achievements. Make sure changes have saved before treating the document as finished.
- 02
Download and inspect
Open Export and choose Download PDF. Read the actual file at a comfortable size, checking page breaks, links, spacing and whether every section is easy to find.
- 03
Keep the version you need
Saving a version is optional and separate from downloading. Use it to preserve a finished document; later edits to the working resume do not rewrite that saved version.
A LITTLE MORE DETAIL
Before you get started.
Do I have to save a version to download a PDF?
No. Export offers a direct PDF download after synchronizing the current revision. Save a version separately when you want a durable record of that document.
Will later edits change a saved PDF version?
Saved resume versions preserve their document content and design. Editing your current resume does not change a previously saved version.
Is a PDF guaranteed to pass an applicant tracking system?
No file format can guarantee that. Follow the employer’s requested format, use readable content and review the exported file. Screening systems and their requirements differ.
